Cupcakes :)
I'm going to have a vanilla cupcake with chocolate AND peanut butter icing tonight. Be jealous.
But more to the point, how has everyone's days been?

Re: Cupcakes :)
I'm SO jealous. I want a carrot cupcake with that yummy frosting right now lol.
My day has been crazy. Good news: Had this ridiculously awesome epiphany about a story. Bad news: I'm now craving a cupcake that I don't have.
lol how is your day??

Jealous about the epiphany! Not jealous you don't have a cupcake.
My day's been great (duh, cupcakes!) but I didn't write. I had time, but I chose to spend it learning a new song on my guitar. I have to divide my free time between all my loves and today I just couldn't stand the sight of my guitar dusting any more!
Re: Cupcakes :)
*le gasp*
I had a cupcake today! But I think yours pwns mine because yours has frosting -- mind didn't. >.< But mine was chocolate, so it's all good. (I'm more of a chocolate person. aha)
My day has been just a regular day. Had to walk home in the rain today. I had like a puddle dwelling in each of my boots, not to mention I was freezing! Everybody thinks California is sunny and hot and beach-y all the time, but it isn't.
Now, I'm looking for a day to finally get started on my new WIP. Whoo!

I ADORE chocolate! And I also really want to live in California one day. Just for a little.
Re: Cupcakes :)
Cupcakes are the awesomest--if they're store-bought, I usually scrape off the icing(I'm sensitive to super-sweet). Unless it's cream cheese frosting, or dark chocolate...or whipped cream. Or just plain peanut butter. Those are all okay by me.
As for my day, I'm pretty sure all ya'll's days are already over, but mine has about three hours left. I miscalculated my AKST to EST and missed everyone by about a half an hour on the chat, so next time! Anyway, I'm looking at getting some psych homework done, and then a little government, video games with my little bro, and then writing and working on my crit partner's chapters until the wee hours.

Aww, rats! I hope you catch us next time.
Yeah, I'm sensitive to over-sweet too. This cupcake of mine had dark chocolate icing and then peanut butter icing on top.

haha now if that epiphany would form into thousands of words on my blank Word document.Lizzy wrote:Shahira wrote:I'm SO jealous. I want a carrot cupcake with that yummy frosting right now lol.

I was SO close to buying a cupcake from Wal*Mart tonight but I made myself walk away. I still need to lose another 15lbs.!! lol.
SO jealous that you can play the guitar. I've wanted to learn for so long. How long have you been playing for?

Re: Cupcakes :)
@Lizzy: I think your day wins. That cupcake sounds divine--vanilla, dark chocolate, and peanut butter? All of my favorite flavors! (Except green tea ice cream…but I don't think that would mix well.)
@Mayaah: I know what you mean about California. I was under the impression that it didn't get cold (you know, no where gets as cold as Alaska, right? ), but then I visited family there for Christmas and in autumn--it definitely got more than chill. =) (My cousins make fun of me for not standing the heat, and I make fun of them for not standing the cold. It all works out.)
As for how my day went, I worked for five and a half hours and then got my employee evaluation from my manager. I think she's just this side of unobservant…or delusional. Either one. So, my day was alright. Methinks I'm going to take some of my frustration out on my WIP. To the computer!!! (Okay, so I guess I'm already on the computer. …Turning off the internet soon! )

lol, yeah! Us Californians - horrible with cold weather. It was 44 degrees high today, which I suppose isn't that cold for you, but for us we were practically screaming death. xP
Yeah...I need to turn off that internet as well.
Re: Cupcakes :)
Yep, 44 is super warm for winter. Chill for summer, but not unheard of. Lol, I can't stand the air conditioning in stores, though--I freeze. And anything higher than 68-70 is hot, so you've got me beat there.Mayaah wrote:lol, yeah! Us Californians - horrible with cold weather. Re: Cupcakes :)
Oh my goodness, I want it to be 44 degrees! It's teens and twenties right now, and a couple days ago, it was single digits. Ugh.Mayaah wrote:

@amanda and @renee
LOL! You guys are survivors -- Alaska seems so cold! It's hard to believe 44 degrees is warm for you. xP

I wanted to play guitar for years but couldn't afford one. Back in...umm, I think it was September? I earned a free guitar on some website and since then I've been learning to play every chance I get.
I'm not very good, but it's one of my favorite things to do to just kind of chill and spend some time working on.
Re: Cupcakes :)
I think that's really cool that you got one for free. They're pretty expensive otherwise. My brother bought one years ago &I tried playing but I couldn't teach myself. I'd definitely want to take lessons.Lizzy wrote:Shahira wrote:haha now if that epiphany would form into thousands of words on my blank Word document.

Have you learned to play any notes or songs yet?

Re: Cupcakes :)
@Shahira
Yeah, I have! I've memorized a couple chords and I'm working on transitioning between them quickly and easily (it's harder than it looks!) And I also know a total of 4 songs, including a Christmas song I learned this winter. I have to play them slowly but I still really enjoy it.

Re: Cupcakes :)
@Lizzy That's cool! I was on YouTube earlier &listened to Yiruma's River Flows In You on a guitar & fell in love so I'm obsessed with the idea of learning it. I'm thinking about taking classes in town. Just gotta figure out the guitar situation lol.

Ahh, I love that song. I didn't know they had it for guitar. I think it would be too hard for me to learn myself. I can't afford lessons at the moment, but at some point that would be ideal.
I won my guitar on Swagbucks, if you want to just check it out. It wasn't easy, I had to fill out a lot of forms and stuff and it took several months, but I did it. *shrug* It might be a thought.
