So tired ^^

Hey all..I haven't been around much today. Kind of a crazy day. How is everyone?

I had a pretty busy day, too. Good news, I got two new pairs of jeans & of course that guitar I told you about. Bad news, I got no writing done.

How's your current WIP? Did you get any writing done today?

I know what you both mean! This week has been crazy for me and my teacher assigned 13 essays!! 13! And, they aren't even on fun topics!

I love new clothes! And I haven't got any writing done either. I've looked sadly at my open manuscript a couple times but haven't had a chance to just sit down and write .

Thirteen essays!? Holy cow, when are they due?

As for me, I've been having perfectly fine days this past week. Nothing especially traumatizing, yet nothing especially special either.
But that thing going on in Libya worries me.

I know right!! Its so unfair!! And they're due on Saturday!!!

*jelous* I wouldn't mind if nothing special happened if there was nothing traumatizing! I heard a little bit about the Libya situation, I really hope someone helps out down there soon!

It's going ok. I've had no time to write and at the moment, every time I do write, I'm just pushing myself to write more and not lose interest. It isn't going as smoothly as I hoped. Hopefully I'll get over this bump soon and be able to start flowing.

Maybe the idea that you're trying to write about isn't as interesting to you as you thought it would be? Maybe you could try writing about something else? Or, if not, we can do that hotline idea I was talking about lol Jk

They're under a really bad dictatorship and I guess their on the verge of breaking free from it but there's something with Obama not saying anything about it... Maya would probably know more, I just learned about the basics of it half hour ago. Thank you google news! Lol

@Sarah I still love my concept, the thing I'm struggling with is sub-plots. You know, the first problem your MC has to face...from those steps... My MC needs a problem (or two) to start the story out and help hold interest while I work up to the big plot. THAT'S what I'm struggling with.

Ugh, sub-plots are really hard sometimes! Well, if you need some help brainstorming I'd be happy to help! And I'm sure everyone else would too!

Well, from what I've gathered, Libya wants a revolution like Egypt did. However, their dictator doesn't want to give up the power and he declared a civil war, in which he says that he won't stop fighting until the last dead man. So, he's sent soldiers to kill all the protestors and the Libyans are getting killed, mutilated, and raped. It's suspected about 2000 people have died since Monday. There are some pretty graphic pics on the internet. The internet and media is all shut down there, yet videos have still trickled on Youtube. It's pretty scary how things like this can happen in our time. Not to mention that earthquake in New Zealand.

Your explanation about Libya ruined my pity party over my essays but that is all so awful!! it's scary to think that there are some seriously evil people out there! I wish we could do something to help!

@Amanda haha this will sound pretty lame but I don't really know exactly what kind it is? It says Rogue Fine Instruments on the head. Maybe that'll help?? lol..What happened was that it was on sale at Guitar Center for 60 bucks &I didn't have much to spend so I picked it up. But it's really nice. Do you play as well?

Haha, I've never heard of Rogue Fine Instruments, but if that's it in your picture, it looks pretty nice for sixty bucks! I have an acoustic-electric Ibanez, so I can still have that awesome acoustic sound, but can plug it into amps and stuff for events. His name is Percy, because there's a trident pattern around the sound hole, lol. I name my things after book characters.

Oh snap! I've heard about all the Egypt stuff, but I had no idea about Libya! That totally sucks! (Huge understatement, I know.) Wow...it's just hard to believe that things like that still happen in modern times.

Yeah it's the one in the picture. Is playing the electric the same as playing acoustic? I heard electric is easier?

I think that's awesome how you named yours. &the fact that it's after a character in your book is super cool.
I've recently fell in love with the name Willow so I'm pretty sure that's what I'm naming mine.

I don't play the electric, but I've tried, and it's easier in some ways, and harder in others. It depends on what you're good at. If you've got quick fingers on both hands, electric's easier, and if you're good at mixing up rhythms with one hand while forming chords with the other, acoustic's easier. It really depends on your strengths. Playing viola for three years gave me a left hand that's good at different fingerings, but a right hand that can do absolutely nothing well, so both are a bit of a challenge.

But I'm learning! lol, and Percy's helping me. In Percy Jackson & the Olympians(by Rick Riordan), Percy has the powers of Poseidon, hence the trident pattern leading to the name Percy. I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to those books. Willow is a super pretty name! It sounds like a lot of the names I think of when I want to name something. Well, something female, of course. My guitar just struck me as a dude, so I couldn't name him Holly or anything. Yes, I'm a bit psycho.
