travelling and languages

Post  Stephen on Sun Mar 06, 2011 1:14 pm

Hello everybody Smile
I was wondering if any of you used other languages than English? I mostly write in french because I go to school there.
So I wanted to know if any of you read, write or speak other languages?
Also I love travelling and I think you learn a lot that way just because cultures and traditions are different. Do any of you travel? If yes, where do you like going? Question

Yeah, I sometimes write in French to french pen pals / friends etc. I'm still a beginner and it doesn't come naturally (yet!).

That's cool you go to school there! *jealous*

Thanks for the translation Smile I'm gonna have to learn french to talk to you all aren't I lol. That's really awesome, I love those types of books. I wish I could write poetry, I'm very bad at it. How long did it take you to learn German through watching tv? That seems like it would be hard.

Sorry... I don't have a French keyboard and I'm too lazy to go use one online to type the accents. Very Happy

I ran all the French through a translator--I understand! Razz I know a little bit of Russian, but definitely not enough to read or write anything of length. I did take Latin for a year, though. Praestans, puellae et pueri! Very Happy English is my only strong point, as languages go.

@Stephen Whoa! You live in France? *jealous*. That's so awesome. J'espere que je peux habiter la. (haha, hope I said that right). Is it as awesome there as everyone thinks it is?

@Renee
I wish I could learn Latin! My Mom thinks it's useless, but I think it's cool. ^^

@Shahira
Arabic is a beautiful language! I would be proud if I knew how to speak it and read it! It seems so complicated to me, lol.
