Your writing inspiration
Who/what is your daily inspiration to write and be a writer? It can be anyone/anything.
Re: Your writing inspiration
This is a hard one! For me inspiration comes out of nowhere everyday, it's not normally the same thing. Sometimes I'll be inspired when I read a really good book and I'll think 'I hope I write a book as good as this' other times I see teens getting published and that inspires me to write more. Just a lot of things I guess
What about you?

I agree with Sarah everything you read, see or hear about can inspire you
I am always inspired, I don't know why but I will always have something to write or talk about, always something that people bave said something about or something different but I often present it in an original way xD

I never saw your reply till now!
Same here. Teens getting published, books, music, movies...they all inspire me. Sometimes just driving in the car inspires me.

Re: Your writing inspiration
I am mainly inspired by moving (sad or epic) music or an intriguing idea. Like…what if humans are actually immortal, but aliens have been shortening our lifespans through food contamination over thousands of years? (That's my sci-fi/crackpot story idea. Entirely for fun, I assure you.) I got that from choking down some oily sweet-and-sour pork. It wasn't that much of a stretch.
Re: Your writing inspiration
I get my inspiration for writing/plot in general by looking for magic in the world and asking lots of 'what if?' questions. My epic fantasy series started with one Christmas present, a necklace with a thin, metal cord and a single, blueish crystal that glowed. I could see the battery and the little LED inside, but imagining that it was a sign of magic, not clever science, opened up a huge flood of ideas that I'm still working through.
The two-book thing that I'm going to work on when I allow myself to take a break from the series came from 'what if you had the superpower of always being right?'. It got a lot more complicated than that, developing a reason for it, a history, and setting up limits.
I get inspired for characters in music and movies that make you think/are sad or epic or both. I don't think I'll ever write a truly happy ending--I like the bittersweet ones way too much. There must be tragedy and death! lol.

Re: Your writing inspiration
I have too many ideas when I just write a word or a sentence and then I have blocks not knowing what ideas I should use xD
The what if questions are also the ones that make me forget where I am and go on imagining that elves maybe exist in parallel worlds, that Greek mythology is real but just that like most stories got changed to time and now you have to separate the truth from the changes that you can encounter in time, either time travelling because I was talking about time.
Or objects that have mystical properties and unknown origins and things like immortality, imagine someone told you,you can become immortal, but to do so you have to abandon your friends, your family and anything you have ever had, wouldn't that destroy you from the inside isn't it better to live only for a life and be happy or 10 of thousands of years without love or pleasure or friends and family. It would become a deadly poison. And so many ideas that I just can't make a sentence without having loads of ideas that I want to put because they would go with this or that but then again not with something else
