If you could visit one country..
If you could visit one country, what would it be and why? (I know you might have many on your list of to-visit, but try to pick one!)
For me, right now, I would visit France. I'm immersed in the language and culture at the moment, and it would just be amazing to visit.

Hmm, I really don't know. I haven't really thought of it much. I think France would be fun to visit but really if I could only visit one country I would want it to be someplace with a beach and warm weather. My second choice is somewhere with a lot of history and beautiful architect and culture

LOL! A beach. ^^ I am dying to go to the beach, too.
The Caribbean, then? And for lots of architecture and history...Greece? Rome? Italy? Just some guesses. ^^ England has a lot of history, too.

Ahh! I don't know! This is almost like asking me to pick a favorite song, or a favorite book...the United Kingdom! That way, I can visit England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland all in one go.
Re: If you could visit one country..
What Amanda said--I would go to the UK! I would stay for a year/six months and perfect my accent. Then, I would use that accent forever after, so when people asked me where I was from, I would say 'Alaska', and they'd be like…what?!
"You're just jealous because I sound like a rock star." …Teen Titans, anyone?

I'd also love to go to the UK, and I want to live in London one day. I think the US would also be a good country to visit. I'd love to see the Grand Canyon, San Francisco, New York etc, but I'd also love to see the things you guys take for granted. (Like yellow school buses. They would be so cool.)

Awesome choice!!

When I was a little younger I used to really want one of those british accent speech coach people who help non-british actors and actresses master the accent. Have any of you ever seen the movie "Miss Potter"? Renee Zellweger plays Miss Potter in that movie, but Renee is American. She learned the british accent and speaks it flawlessly throughout the movie. They said she even kept it up on set.
THAT'S what I'd love to be able to do! You would never know she's American. I didn't until I saw an interview of her speaking normally and she was talking American. O_O That was a weird moment!

That's so interesting. Are there no yellow school buses where you are? I really never thought of it, to be honest.
Out of all those places you listed in the U.S I've only been to New York. I love it there so dearly. My dad's been to San Fransisco and he loves it there so much that's where he wants to retire. I hope to go one day, too. ^^
London would be amazing.

The Caribbean for sure! Even though I've already been to most of the islands (my family loves the beach ). Any of those places would be amazing. I think England would be fun to visit because my parents got married out there so that would be cool.

This will sound super corny but I've ALWAYS said I would go to Paris & write a novel there. Some really epic love story. It's cliche of all cliche's. So, I guess I would go to France. But I'm going to cheat here & say London as second choice because English accents = to die for.

What an amazing place to get married!
And lucky (about the Caribbean) -- I hope to visit a tropical island at least once in my life. All the beaches I've ever visited were up north where it's cold and sometimes stony. ^^

We can meet up in France. ^^
And I totally agree about English accents. I wish I had one.

I know right, I really want to get married some place like that!
You have to visit Grand Cayman, it was amazing there! I loved it! Aww, is it because you live up North? I've never been to a beach up in any of the Northern states, my parents like driving the 20 hours to Florida lol.

Re: If you could visit one country..
@Lizzy I'll see you there. We can write together in those little cafe's & hopefully run into a pair of cute French boys with accents lol. &yeah, I've love to have an accent, especially that one.
@Sarah I think that's awesome that you're parents got married there! Mine got married in Pakistan(where I'm originally from) but it's not really a nice place to have a wedding lol.
I'm a beach freak so I want to visit some really nice beaches too. I've only been two a few beaches because I've lived in a desert all my life.

I would love to visit the States again and maybe go to Australia or just wait for you all in Europe either in France, the UK or Ireland

I'm half Irish xD
Re: If you could visit one country..
@Sarah I was born in Pakistan but I came to the states when I was 8 months old. I've only been back twice('01 & '03). I don't plan on going back any time soon though. Too much bad stuff going on there.
Albuquerque, NM is the desert I grew up in. It's pretty dry there, LOTS of brown everywhere. (Like, every single building & house lol.) It's actually really beautiful. The mountains are to die for. They look purple, &at sunset, they look like they're on fire. It's a pretty small town but not like, tiny. &the weather is really nice. Kind of random though. Sorry I'm rambling but I just moved to Texas this past year &I really miss home lol.. I went from a desert to trees. HUGE change.
@Lizzy It does sound like a dream, doesn't it? Or something you'd read about in a novel lol.

Re: If you could visit one country..
(I have no idea how to quote, let's see how I go...)
I live in Australia and we have no yellow school buses. If I saw one, I'd probably have a massive tourist moment and take a whole heap of pictures with it, making a fool of myself in the process.
