1101 Words!

I wrote 1101 words last night!!! I'm so excited! XD It's the most I've written in over a month. And then I planned the last four chapters of my novel! I didn't get to sleep until after 3, but who cares? I got past the block!

So, how are all your writing exploits going?

I've written a little bit in the last week, but I had to get up super early for testing so writing didn't happen much Oh well, I know one things for sure, I will definitely be finishing my novel by the end of April at the latest

Woohoo!! I'm so happy for you! That's a LOT!!

Umm...my writing's going OK. Just lots of edits and stuff. Nowhere near even half what you wrote. xD

Before Christmas, I was writing 1-2k every other day, so my standards have been set pretty high for myself--I know I'm capable and can do so much better than what I've been doing. I don't get writer's block, per se, but I do get stuck at transitions in between important events in a scene just because I don't like the way it sounds in my head. Because transitions are boring. So even though I know what's happening next, and I'm just a couple paragraphs away, I just can't get it out on paper. They're the worst kinds of blocks, for me, because no sudden eureka will get you past it, you just have to force your way through.

But I've finally broken through, and now I can get on with my life! According to my chapter plan, I'm going to have a total of 20 chapters, for a grand sum of 110k words. Basically perfect Monk numbers. I'm pretty satisfied with life right now. April support group! (I don't think I'll finish by the end of April, due to graduation pressures, but it looks like it'll be pretty close, like first or second week of May.) Good luck, you guys! It seems we all could use some more of that.

That's okay, go May support group! Lol. Thanks, I can't wait to finsish my WIP and then take a little break from that world.
