What's your favorite class? It can be one in school or it can be a club, or even music lessons. For me it's creative writing, cause that's just always awesome and I'm really getting into psychology Smile

I could totally get in to psychology too-- it fascinates me! Even though I've never had an official class. Yet.

I'd have to say French. Easily. It's the most enjoyable. ^^

That's awesome that you love your foreign language class so much! I'm taking spanish I can't stand it, I've practically given up on it :/ maybe I'll try French instead

My favorite class was Masterpieces of World Lit II--I took it at the university with a professor I'd taken an English class with previously. Easily the best professor on campus, and a really awesome subject, too. Smile But that was last semester. This semester, I have Russian, Government, AP Psychology, Voice/Piano Lessons, Guitar Theory, and Conceptual Physics. I think my favorite of those is a tie between the lessons and Guitar Theory. The psychology teacher isn't very supportive/all interactions with her have been rather frustrating, so, though I really enjoy the subject, it isn't my favorite class by any means. Rolling Eyes

Wow, you're taking a lot of classes!!! They all sound really fun! What was Masterpieces of World lit about? Art work? I would sooo love that!

My psych teacher was the worst teacher I had ever had in my entire life. Seriously. We had to read forty page chapters a day and take tests on them every day and they we had one hour to take a 60 min. exam, which we had every other week (the exam was 60 questions so we had only one minute to read and answer everything) And the teacher wouldn't help with anything and wasn't supportive. Okay, I'll stop ranting. But despite all that, the material in the book was so interesting (minus all the stuff about the brain that I couldn't comprehend) like the different theories and why kids to do what. Sooo cool!

Masterpieces of World Lit(erature) covered the great works of European and some Russian and American writers from the 1700's to half through the 1900's. I developed a taste for good poetry in that class. Keats, Tennyson, and Browning are some of my favorites. Smile But yeah, my Psych teacher is very discouraging, which is weird, because you'd thing that someone with a knowledge of psychology would know how to motivate. No

That sounds like so much fun! (sorry, I knew it stood for Literature, but I had a lit class that was about poems enspired by paintings once, so I sort of smoosh them together now lol) I love tennyson! He's one of my favoites, though my favorite poem writer of all time is Robert Frost.

I know right? You would think that psych teachers would be the best ones, but they never are. Try reading the text book over the summer for fun, its so worth it! (maybe I'm just saying that because it's given me so many cool story ideas Smile)

Wow Amanda! That's a lot of classes. *is impressed* I struggle keeping up with homework for 2 outside-of-home classes. Sad Guitar Theory sounds awesome, truly. My guitar 'lessons' are not an official class, and aren't credits. I just do that for fun and it's self-taught. (If online guitar lessons can be called self-teaching?)

I love creative writing too! Guitar sounds like so much fun!!! My dad wants me to take guitar lessons with him, I told him that if I can get it to count for a credit then I'll take them with him (but he'll probably end up guilting me into it anyway)

But I think that's awesome that you're dad wants to take classes with you! I'd love to have someone take classes with me lol. You should do it. :]

That guy sounds soo cool! Now I want to meet him! Tell him to make an acount on the forums Smile

He tried taking guitar lessons with my brother, but my brother had no patients for it. So my dad knows the only way he can take them is if he gets one of us kids to take them with him, so it's not really that he wants to take them with me, he just wants to take them in general lol. But if I can get it for credit I will definitely do it!

@Sarah I wish I got credit for my guitar because it's so much fun. I don't know if a music credit is needed though? *shrug*

But I agree with Shahira. Besides my little brother playing now and then, no one else in the family plays and so I have no one to learn with. *sad*
