Manuscript Formatting
I just thought I'd post this in case anyone wanted to know.
The standard industry format calls for your manuscript (hereafter referred to as "MS") and your synopsis, to be double spaced (at least when you're doing hardcopy or an email attachment, because the body of an email is a whole different ballgame) with your last name and the title (abbreviated if it's long) in the upper left hand corner of each page, with the page numbers in the top right. If you're sending it via postal mail, you'll need to do a cover page for both the MS and synopsis, that that has your name, address, phone and email in the upper left hand corner, your genre and word count (with the word "synopsis" beneath the word count if it's the one for your synopsis) in the upper right, and, centered a few lines down from all of that, your book title, by your name.
I hopes this helps you guys! Feel free to ask questions.

This goes into more detail. Make sure you're aware of your margins (Word is auto-set to 1.25 inches rather than 1), your page breaks (not a bunch of spaces between chapters, but rather an "Insert page break"), and your spacing (don't have an extra space between paragraphs).
