What are you working on?
We need a new topic that DOESN'T start with QOTD. What are you working on at the moment?
Re: What are you working on?
I'm working on a fantastic novel mixed with mythology, magic and parallel worlds I have been working on it for the last eleven months and still I am only at the beginning
Re: What are you working on?
I was working on my contemporary but then my paranormal became more interesting so I started working on that

Re: What are you working on?
@Stephen Sounds truly awesome! 11 months is a long time for one novel. It's probably good with all the time you're taking!
@Sarah Yay! Writing is good, no matter what. And I've found it's hard to keep telling people what I'm working on since it changes often.

Re: What are you working on?
I'm still working on rewrites for my epic fantasy. 15k to go! lol, if 11 months must be good, mine must be supermegamazingawesomesauce! It's only the *cough*fifth year*cough* I've been working with it.
Re: What are you working on?
I'm working on a new archaeological thriller. I just finished the outline, and should be ready to start writing soon!
Re: What are you working on?
@Amanda AWESOME! It must be pretty good after all this time!
@Scribbler It sounds really neat. Have fun writing it! (That's the best part!) (For me ).

Re: What are you working on?
I am currently working on/editing Amanda's fifth-year project, but I've been at least thinking about my WIP, so hopefully I'll know what I'm doing when I finally sit down to work out the plot changes and write it.

Re: What are you working on?
I have a post-dystopian (yes, I made that genre up) thriller which I'm halfway through editing and may or may not have abandoned, a sci-fi/fantasy novel I'm working on right now, an alternate-history type project wich isn't actually a novel but which will hopefully be awesome which I'm planning on starting this summer, and about seventeen other novel ideas that might eventually happen someday. I dont' know about them yet. XD
Re: What are you working on?
Sorry I haven't written you back! The one I sent you was my paranormal. :-D But I got into my other contemporary one so I'm trying to write that. If you want, when I have a chapter written, I can send that your way. :]Sarah wrote:Shahira wrote:I was working on a Paranormal but I just switched back to my contemporary novel I had kept aside. Re: What are you working on?
Really? Wow! Now I want to know what the paranormal aspect to it is *starts thinking of what it could be*
Yeah, when you finish a chapter on the Contemporary I'd love to critique it for you I had a lot of fun critiquing the last one and I wasn't kidding about your descriptions, they're awesome!

I have a pretty good paranormal aspect planned for that one. ;] Once I work on your notes & add more I'll send it your way. &yes, I need to send you my contemporary one, I'm just having some trouble with the dialogue right now. :/ Also, thank you!! I love describing things. The rest of it? Not so much. :]

Re: What are you working on?
*excited* I really want to know what it is now What's the problem with the dialogue? Maybe I can help. You're welcome That's like the opposite of my problem. I do really well with dialogue and stuff but for me describing things in a three dimensional way is tough (also the showing not telling but at least that's a pretty easy fix once you practice a little )

Re: What are you working on?
I guess we all have things we need to work on in our writing. :] But yeah, the showing & no telling is definitely something I need to practice more lol. I'll hopefully shoot you an email sometime tomorrow.

Re: What are you working on?
Lol, yep. It's hard in the first few chapters after that its easier not to tell. Cool, for the contemporary? Or the revisions on the paranormal?

Re: What are you working on?
Yup normally I make up my own paranormal aspect so I can't really say I write about Vampires or werewolves or something because they are made up in my own head. You know what I mean?
That sounds like so much fun!! I really want to meet her sometime!
