holidays :)

the holidays are close and some of you are already on holidays
Are you going somewhere? and even if you are going to stay at home where would you like to go or be right now

I'm a few days away from mid-year break, but I'm not going anywhere on holidays. In my September holidays, I am going to Melbourne, though. *If* I could go on holidays anywhere, I'd want to go as close to the equator as possible. Anyone who's heard my I-hate-winter gripe will know why.

Most of us lazy Americans have already started our ~3 month summer break, haha. I'm off to California in two weeks, for ~2.5 weeks. It's going to be hot, and I'm going to hate it. And I won't have internet for most of the time. But hey, I get to see family, so...let's hope 2.5 weeks isn't long enough for us to get on each other's nerves, lol.

Amanda: America is so lucky to have a 3 month break! I've got university holidays which are really long compared to schools, but even then I don't think I get quite 3 months!

I hate going on holidays and having people get on my nerves! A few years ago my family toured around south east Australia for 6 weeks (the entire summer break) in a CARAVAN. *shudders at the thought*

What Amanda said. 3 lazy months of summer. But I really needed it! *is lazy*

I already had my 1 week vacation to the shore. I'm done now, but it's okay! It totally refreshed me. Now it's time to just enjoy summer in my own back yard.

I came back home to Albuquerque for my friends wedding but I'll be going back to Dallas for about a week then back here again. I was supposed to go to Chicago for another friends wedding but my dad threw out his back so that plan got cancelled. :[

I would love to go everywhere but this summer I shall only be going to see my family in Ireland and I might find a job for a month to go round the world with the savings in a few years time

Dude...ONLY Ireland??? *dies of jealousy* *just kidding*

But seriously. Ireland is one of the places I really really want to visit. Good luck with finding a job! Having money is really nice.

@Amanda well I said only because in less than a year I have been there 3 times and this will be the 4th time.

I figured it was something like that. *sigh* I've only been to four states, and I've never left the U.S. I wish to change this, and hopefully sooner, rather than later.
