Quiet, Silent, Muted
It is SO quite around here! I'm hoping this is just because it's summer. Cause when I got here, it was much more buzzy-er.
So. To make it louder, I am going to throw out a music grenade*!!!!! And, and, hugs for EVERYONE!!!!! (Especially those with chocolate for me)
There, that helped.
But seriously. Where is everyone? How is everyone? WHO is everyone?! *peers around for creepers*
Okay. I'm goin' before I say something weid(er). *waves*

*waves* I know it's because of summer that I'M not here as often. *glances 'round* Can't say the same for anyone else.
Re: Quiet, Silent, Muted
Same as Lizzy. I'm on almost every day during the school year but now that summers come I've barely been online. I've mainly been at driving class :/ and then trying to squeeze everything in around it, but other than that I'm pretty good. How are you?

Re: Quiet, Silent, Muted
@Lizzy I knew this.
@Sarah Driving class. Eh. How much of that do you have left?
I am wonderful, I s'pose. I have been being a total slacker and not writing. Which confuses me at this point, because I totally love my story.
But anyway.

I'm done with it all on Sunday!!! Woohoo!
It's been the exact same for me. I love my story but for some reason I'm not writing much.

YAY!!!!!!!!! I shall throw you confetti.
Yeah... After counceling with Lizzy, I've decided to try working on a different story idea. See if that helps.

Hello everyone. Ahhh I've joined this forum very recently so I can't judge how busy it is around here. But it does seem awful quiet. So. Heeyyyy people.

Re: Quiet, Silent, Muted
I'm 18. And ahhh, I like to write pretty much anything. Mostly contemporary/urban fantasy, fantasy realism, sci-fi, and realistic fic.
Re: Quiet, Silent, Muted
You sound like Taryn.
Besides that realistic fiction, I fall in the same category on the "mostly". I write some paranormal too, though I would never have said that if I hadn't... actually written one. I'm not crazy about paranormal. Go figure.
How many books have you finished? I think I remember your intro saying you'd been writing a while...?

Re: Quiet, Silent, Muted
Eh heh. I don't know who Taryn is, but cool!
Haha, same here actually. I wrote two paranormal romances when I was 15. Guhhh. They were really bad, though.
Well uh, I've finished 8 books. But, I use the word "finished" very loosely––I mean, I have at least a rough draft of all these things, but they all need some thorough editing.

Re: Quiet, Silent, Muted
That is a compliment, don't worry.
Lol! Mine is really bad too, but I love it enough that I'm willing to try and save it eventually.
Eight! That is still pretty impressive, edited or not. *applauds*

Re: Quiet, Silent, Muted
Well then, thank you!
Yeah ... I think one of mine had an interesting concept and I'd like to rewrite it someday. It just kinda lacked a lot of explanation. And the writing was horribly pretentious. It makes me cringe.
Aw, thanks! But really, I need to edit all of them ... a lot. XD

Re: Quiet, Silent, Muted
That sounds fun. I don't think I'd have the patience for rewriting an old story idea––at least, not yet.
Oy, vey. Mine needs TONS of explanation. And tons more description. It's basically skin and bones right now. *pats poor awful story*
Editing! Fun! ...I think?

Re: Quiet, Silent, Muted
I haven't been around as often as I would have wanted to be but I have been working a lot on my novel recently, and am checking out certain details about the laws and the documents needed for certain decisions in the book, with my father and my Uncle(my Uncle is a lawyer). and I have also been keeping my blog up to date after having dropped it for about a year
I will try to be at the chats if I can and of course be on the forums more often, again if I can

Re: Quiet, Silent, Muted
I haven't been on the forum's a lot recently because of summer, I'm guessing. Either that, or I'm really lazy and got out of the habit. (I'm like that sometimes, especially with e-mails)
But anyways, I haven't been writing as much as I feel like I should, what with summer and all, but I've recently been getting into my third book in a trilogy and I'm really excited about it. My writing habits are weird; I'll get into a story for a while, then get bored and move onto another unfinished story, then get bored with it and... you get the picture. Right now, I have at least 5 unfinished stories and 2 that I haven't started but want to. (I feel like I should finish my other stories first)

@Stephen
Nice! Sounds like you've been busy! I assume your blog is in French?
@Dragontamer Wow. How do you keep track of so many stories at once? I think I'm doing good if I can work on one and not forget anything.
