Nom nom weakness?
I'm really posting this to make myself feel better. But it's a question for you: What is your nom-nom weakness?
For me, I have a few. But in particular, lately, it's been trail mix. Not like what you're thinking. There is a trail mix bar at my local health food store. They offer chocolate chips, white chocolate, cranberries, nuts, chocolate covered nuts, chocolate covered raisins (DIE!!!), dried fruit...you name it!
It's sold by weight, and you fill a little plastic container or bag. OMG. I'm not a big nut fan, so I make a 'trail mix' out of sweet things... and it's TO DIE FOR.
I've been trying really hard lately not to have much sugar. None, actually, if I can help it. But today I totally bought some trail mix and now I feel guilty. I just can't help it! It's my definite nom-nom weakness of the year.
What are yours?

Um. Sherbet. I LOVE sherbet. So much. But sweets in general, I'll take. Your trail mix sounds incredible and nomalicious and tempting.
As for non-sweet nom-noms, I love chicken noodle soup, curry (Indian especially), chicken pot pie, sushi, and kimbap. In no particular order, and any time of the year.
But really, I just love food.

Re: Nom nom weakness?
@Twin I completely understand. I love food, too! And sherbet is AWESOME. Completely understandable nom-nom weakness! O_O
Re: Nom nom weakness?
Kimbap is very nom-nomable. I would eat more if I (or my mom) wouldn't be too lazy to make it frequently (we make it from scratch).
My nom-nom weakness is probably dark chocolate. Or just chocolate in general. My Spanish teacher had an M&M dispenser in his class where you could get a handful for a nickel. And I visited it daily. That year's diet plan did NOT GO WELL.
When I'm not eating yogurt or korean food, I am craving chocolate.
Oh, and Lizzy, I totally understand. I used to be obsessed with trail mix, too, before my mom stopped buying it. TT_TT

Oh! Yogurt! I meant to comment on your love for yogurt on the other thread, but I got distracted (surprise, surprise. )
Yogurt definitely fits the nom-nom category. ESPECIALLY Greek yogurt. Especially Greek yogurt with chocolate chips in it. Mmmm.
Dang it, now I'm hungry. Thanks a lot, Twin.

Hmm...I like pasta. Any of the more moist varieties of grain, really--rice, rice noodles, spaghetti, ect. I sometimes have cravings for bread, and there's this delicious torta bread at Costco, I think, and it's DELICIOUS. And I will say it for a third time--DELICIOUS. I like veggies and fruit, and...just food in general. Healthy food. My chocolate must be dark, and I really don't like super sweet things...unless it's ice cream or Thai Iced Tea. I'm really craving healthy food--we kind of only have junk right now.
Re: Nom nom weakness?
Yeah, I'm the same as Amanda--in love with grains, craving health food, and possessing only junk. It is sad. Right now, I'm really liking lettuce by itself...and quinoa or brown rice.
Re: Nom nom weakness?
@Lyla Ahh! That sounds delish. And I love yogurt too. I think I forgot to comment on that as well. O_O
@Constance Greek yogurt + chocolate chips!? I'm SOLD. *waits for the next time we have yogurt in the house*
@Amanda Mmmm. I totally agree. And how sad! I've had a craving for fruit lately and we haven't had much of that in the house, except oranges... which I don't like. O_o
@REnee I LOVE quinoa! And lettuce by itself sounds... er... healthy.

Re: Nom nom weakness?
@Amanda Oh, GRAINS. I'm one of those. Except I'm more of a rice person than a pasta person, but a good sandwich will win me over any day. Healthy food is delic too. I wish I lived next to a Whole Foods.
Scratch that. If I did I would be poor. O_o
@Renee ...Lettuce. Plain. Okay, I like healthy, but not THAT much.
@Twin I know, right? OH! Last night I made a very unhealthy trail mix inspired by yours. Mommy said it wasn't trail mix because it didn't have nuts. So I put one nut in. *giggles*

@Lizzy & Constance -- Lol, I'm not abstaining to be healthy, I just find that sometimes I don't enjoy salad dressing--if it's on there, it has to be light.
Re: Nom nom weakness?
@Renee I see... but still. I don't like creamy dressings like ranch, but I really love balsamic vinegar dressings. Lettuce by itself is ew-worthy.

Ditto, Constance. Ranch = yuck.
Italian's good! But then again so is honey mustard.

Eh. I'm actually not crazy about Italian dressing either. Or honey mustard. >.>

Re: Nom nom weakness?
@Renee Thank you! Those are my two favorite pairs of shoes. I figured I should put them both on and make a picture out of it. ;P
@Twin Merci. *smiles*
