QOTD Tuesday November 15
QUESTION: If you had to write one genre for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Re: QOTD Tuesday November 15
My computers been marking all of these as read :/ so, I finally got smart and actually checked the titles instead of the pretty colors that tell you if you read it or not
In answer to your question, paranormal for sure. My definition of it is anything that's not, well, normal, but still set in real world. So I tend to create my own type of creatures and have fun merging their rules and world with ours. I just love it (plus almost every good idea I have is paranormal which may or may not have influenced the decision )

Whoa…why this say read before? Trippy…
Anyway! Definitely fantasy! It's the most versatile, I could do anything. A couple of my ideas aren't fantasy, but most of them are, so if I was going to limit myself, there ya go.

I choose thrillers. It's pretty much all I write anyway, although I do dabble in other genres. But, I'm glad I *can* write in more than one genre because I've got a few ideas for other genres I'd love to try out one day!
Re: QOTD Tuesday November 15
@Sarah It does that to me sometimes, too! Mostly if I leave the forums open in a tab for a while, it marks all the new ones as read. O_o It's so silly! But I knew you'd say that! XD
@Amanda Yeah. What I said to Sarah. And ME TOO! That's what I'd write forever if I had to. Fantasy is my first love.
@Matt Hehehe, predictable! Have you ever even experimented with another genre?

That's so strange! I hope it doesn't continue doing it! Yup, I already told you about my love for paranormal

Fantasy. Because aside from a few, all my ideas are fantasy––or could be changed to fit fantasy. And like you said, Twin, twas my first love. Well. If you don't count the horse story years.
@Sarah I LOVE your definition of paranormal, versus the automatic vampires/mean faeries/werewolves/other creepers I think of when I hear the word.

@Constance Thanks! My goal is to change people's ideas of paranormal being just vampires/werewolves/ghosts

I've written quite a few things in the police procedural/mystery genre, but I guess that's pretty similar to thrillers! I've written some short stories in the YA genre, some stuff that doesn't seem to fit in any genre (like the drowning one), and I even tried a love story a few weeks ago! (It was with enemy submarines, but didn't go so well).

Oh nice! Yeah, I guess it's similar. I haven't really read much of either, so I don't know. Enemy submarines? Love story? Sounds awesome! Sorry it didn't go well, LOL!
