Pros and cons of today
Cons: I have a cold. It's rainy. =(
Pros: I wrote over 2,000 words. I LOVE my story. I've had lots of yummy tea. I <3 our Christmas decorations. I didn't have to go to chem class because it's Christmas break -- woohoo!
How's everyone else's Tuesday?

Yay there's more pros than cons Wow, you're still in NaNo mode haha, that's great though!!! Yay for tea and Christmas break!!! I love both! The mall near my house just got a tea shop put in so you can actually create your own tea there (like pick what leaves you want and what flavors you want mixed together) It's amazing!
I hope you feel better!

Re: Pros and cons of today
Cons: The weather sucks. The power at my house has gone out for upwards of ten hours TWICE in the last week and a half. We had a huge wind/rain storm that melted a lot of the snow, which made the roads icy when it refroze. Then we had another windstorm with lots of sleet, which turned into snow, and then two feet of snow all in one night. No driving, no school(which doesn't affect me), and no feeding my poor cat(who is at my house, while I'm at my grandparents') until 3 in the afternoon.
Pros: Young adult group tonight! And I'm already getting to halfway in Ch 7, planning to finish it by tonight. Which will be one chapter polished in about two days, the fastest it's happened so far. ^_^

Re: Pros and cons of today
Oh, no! Feel better soon!
Cons: It's really really cold. Which would be fine, except I have Raynaud's syndrome, so my hands and feet have been numb almost all day. O.o Plus, there's no snow. What good is the cold if there's no snow?!
Pros: I've added almost a thousand words to my primary WIP today, which is impressive considering I've only been working on it for a short time. I'm currently really in love with this story and its characters, so--naturally--I have to torture them. But right now, my WIP and I are in a good place.

Re: Pros and cons of today
Cons: All that Amanda said PLUS a lot of my time was taken today to help my Dad work on the well, and I have pink-eye for the fourth time in four months, preventing me from going to the Young Adult group Amanda spoke of.
Pros: Young Adult group was cancelled, so I'm not left out! *is selfish* XD I'm currently on Ch 12 in editing, and it's going faster! I might get my speed up to 2 scenes to 1 chapter a day. Also, we have our car back from our mom, and we named her Jules. ^_^

Re: Pros and cons of today
TWIN. Why are you sick?! That isn't okay! *frets* I am glad you wrote lots, though. That is brilliant!
Cons: I didn't get to talk to Maggie at ALL today, and I promised her I would yesterday, and I feel sad and guilty. Mother hasn't helped me buy a certain something from the internetz yet, and I'm uber impatient. I really want to start writing my story again, but I need to plot more. I set a date for my CLEP test. *dies* Today was super busy, and I really prefer slow. I couldn't have the prize for the scavenger hunt I won, alas.
Pros: It was my mommy's birthday! I made her a cake, and breakfast, and gave her gifts, and even managed to surprise her! I mailed all my friends' Christmas packages. I went to a really fun Christmas party and won a scavenger hunt.
I realize there are more cons than pros, but most of the cons are more whiny than anything, and the pros are BIG EXCITING THINGS. (For example, I usually fail at surprising my mommy.)
@Sarah- I WANT ONE OF THOSE SHOPS. *can just imagine*
@Amanda- Yay, faster polishing! That's a good sign for the quality of the writing, right?
@Rachel- I agree that the snow should come with cold, 100%. And I'm so glad your WIP makes you so happy! I love it when that happens. ^_^
@Renée- Again?! Oh no, Owo! That's so sad. I hope it goes away soon! Is Jules in honor of Juliette from Psych, or just cause it's an awesome name?

Re: Pros and cons of today
@Constance—lol, I think the faster editing is more of a sign of FOCUSING, plus a little bit of it getting easier. I'm rewriting a big section right now, because the original was like two paragraphs of pure telling in the middle of the scene, and it was boring, and Renée and I kept forgetting the whole scene was there b/c of it. Not a good thing, lol! It's much more memorable now.
But the word count keeps going up, and it's making me sad. Initial edits made it 113k, up from the rewrites of 111k, but it's supposed to be going down to 110k in polishing! It's so far staying at around 113k.
And Jules is in honor of Juliette, yes. Also because it's a cool name…and better than Bessie. It took three years, but my car has a real name!

Re: Pros and cons of today
@Teo- Oh, well focus is definitely good too. xD Yay, memorable scenes!
...I think you should just accept the word count for what it is and stop fretting over it. It's fantasy, it's allowed to be long.
Heheh, nice! Your car is well named. ^^

Haha, yeah. XD I AM back in NaNo mode, except it's fun this time. I love this novel a hundred million times more than I liked my NaNo one.
Ooooh! There's a tea shop in the mall near my house, too, that's really nice. Except I don't know if you're able to mix things. I just know that their tea is amazing. *has some* And expensive.
Re: Pros and cons of today
@Maggie That's so great that you love this novel!!! *happy for you* And you get the added pro of Constance coming to visit you
My mom loves the tea place near ours so no matter how expensive it gets I think she'll still buy it.

How on EARTH did I miss this? I'm SO sorry about your power. =( That really sucks. Poor, poor kitty! And poor all of you. No fun.
Ooooh, that's awesome! Congrats!

I'm SO sorry you have pinkeye! =( No fun.
And gain, awesome pros! Hahah. Is there a story behind that name?

Thank you!!
Raynaud's! My brother has that. =( I'm so sorry. Hope it snows for you. Lots and lots! (Although, then you might end up with some of Amanda and Renee's cons... like no school, no food, no nowhere. O_O)
Woohoo! A thousand words is AWESOME! High fives for loving stories, too.
Re: Pros and cons of today
Wow. I missed so many of those replies. O_O
Anyway, Twin, I don't know why I got sick, but I'm pretty much recovered now! Just a bit of a cough and such left. It went by really fast. =) *so thankful*
AND NOW YOUR MOMMY BOUGHT IT! And so all is well.
