GUYS. MY BOOKSHELF IS SO PURDY.
Yes, it's nearly the end of the university term for me, and yes, I should be studying for tests/working on my study abroad applications, but dangit, I have books on my shelf and they are purrrrdy.
I tend to be weird with buying books. As in...I don't. Not often, anyway; but recently I decided that I needed to get some of the books I've beenkeeping from the library far too long borrowing habitually.
Hence, the following lovely books now sit upon my shelf:
INCARNATE by Jodi Meadows
DIVERGENT by Veronica Roth
THE NEAR WITCH by Victoria Schwab
CHALICE by Robin McKinley
And very soon, CINDER by Marissa Meyer will join their ranks.
So. This is a roundabout way of asking: what books have you guys read and loved recently?

Cinder is awesome!!!! I just got a big shipment myself: Fever, The Disenchantments, Audrey Wait, The Vanishing Game, Before I Fall, In Too Deep, and Harbinger. Audrey Wait! was AWESOME. It came out a while back, but the voice in it is amazing and I LOVED the MC. Just finished The Disenchantments and was disappointed...it's very much a character driven, literary novel and I'm a plot girl.
I think I want to rearrange my books now

Ooooh, that's a good list! Isn't Incarnate the most beautiful book EVER? I bought it on its release day last month, and I'm STILL just admiring it! And I want to read Cinder, too.
Read and loved recently... hmm. I'm trying to figure out when I've read what. Right! I read A Million Suns semi-recently. Also Gathering Blue, Hourglass, umm... jeez. My brain isn't functioning right. I actually just spent the last of my Barnes & Noble giftcard, and so I'm just waiting for the next time I have enough money to treat myself to more BOOKS. (And before you say anything, NO, my library doesn't carry ANYTHING good. So it's not really an option.)

Books! I feel like I have a LOT of new(as in I-bought-them/received-them-as-gifts, because I too am not really one to buy books. Ever.) books on my shelves right now. It makes me very happy. ^_^ I've gotten...Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev, the Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson, Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld, A Million Suns by Beth Revis, and, yes, Incarnate!! (And several others I got ages ago and still haven't read. -_-)
A Million Suns was amazing––I'm still on a reading high from it, because I finished it all of an hour ago. So was Divergent. I really really want to read Incarnate, but I have some less-fun books to read first. *twitches*

I need to read Divergent and Incarnate. I'm just sure when, or if I will read them. I have a huge list of books that I need to read, and I'm trying to stick with the library, but that doesn't always work. *headdesk*

Same here about Divergent! And the huge list of books. It's overwhelming!

@Taryn - I seriously love Cinder. (hugs book) I always love it when books come in. I hope the rest of your shipment was lots of fun!
@Maggie - I know the feeling about the library, haha--I always have to request books from other libraries in the region. I hope you like Incarnate and Cinder! I love them both...very different books, but still so lovely.
@Constance - Ack! I've been waiting for A Million Suns to come in at my library. I'm glad it was awesome, though...on spring break, I must partake in the awesomeness.
@Taylor - Ah, I know the feeling. The good news, though, is...better too long a list of books to read than too short (well, depending on your perspective. I prefer having a lot of fun stuff to read over having very little). They're both awesome books, though very different.
