Official Write On! Mascot

Hellooooo, everyone. Constance, Ghent and I were chatting a little while ago about the lack of a mascot/pet for Write On!, and we think that this needs to be remedied. As we are writers, it seems fitting that we invent our own mascot, and make it out of pure and undiluted Awesome. We have a basic sketch of our creature, but a) we would like to run it by everyone else, and b) if anyone has any suggestions about it, please do share!

Thus far, it looks like this.
Our beast is four-legged, and possesses the power to fly in the event that it tastes any drink other than water. If, perchance, it tastes tea, it can fly through/above/beyond every other mortal creature and will take on an energy level hitherto unobserved in any natural creature.

...and we're still working on it. Have suggestions? Post them! The more absurd and the more awesome the better.

So totally meant to do this Friday after the chat! Been traveling and not at home and...*shrugs*

All that Rachel said, and on top of that:

When it is calm, it's about the size of a horse. When it gets excited––negatively or positively––it shrinks to the size of a large lap dog. Its eyes and ears stay the same size, though, so they are disproportionately large when it's small. (So the two people left in the chatroom thought the idea of it being super cute when it was angry was amusing. Like a kitten. Or a puppy. Can you blame us?)
It is very furry in both states. It has fangs. No tail. Round ears, like a koala.

Comments? Suggestions? Disagreement with any previously stated attributes? Come on people, we are writers. I WANT US TO MAKE A CREATURE UP, DARN IT. IT WILL BE THE BEST THING.

Sounds awesome to me! I think it would be funny if it was like a chameleon and changed colors but would always get stuck on rainbow color, something like that. I'm not sure if that can be incorporated though so if not it's already super awesome I love this idea of a mascot!
