Lol run Lizzy, run!

If you're talking to me, okay! Smile Mom doesn't read much. Plus, she's a slow reader. (Sorry, Mom!)

You hit the little 'quote' button. Smile Yep, just me, and I'm the only bookworm in my family. No siblings, thank goodness. They'd drive my little introverted self up the wall!

@Sarah It's the black "Quote" button. It's right up there in the top right-ish of every post. That will put whatever the last person said in a quote tag.

@AWriterGoneMad LOL! Your little introverted self. Razz

I'm completely serious when I say I'm introverted. There's nothing I value more than time alone with books and time to think about things. Smile I'm really introspective, too. I live to lose myself in my thoughts.

I'm an introvert too, but I have to have a balance of people time too or I'll get depressed. There's nothing wrong with being an introvert! I mean so long as you don't live in a cave and hardly speak english. Laughing

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think most people are too self-centered and egoistic. They don't see how important it is to do good in the world and help people. I think it's a shame, really. If only...

I don't live in a cave, (yet, anyway) and I think I speak English...(Fun fact: when I was little, I referred to English, the only language I speak, as "normal speak." Everything else was strange, lol.)

Yeah...I was a strange kid, lol. But not everybody can be normal. Razz

LOL! A lot of people are, but some people have the right idea. It's just a matter of discerning characters and picking the right people to open up to. But in general I love people and to be around them. Some of my best moments in life consist of things like laughing at the same thing with a random stranger in Costcos.

LOL! It's good to be a strange kid. Maybe different is a less-harsh word. Laughing that's funny.

Currently, I have three beta readers. One I met on Critique Circle and we exchange writing to critique. The other two volunteered because I put up a sort of "ad" on the NaNoWriMo forums, in the Critiques, Feedback, and Novel Swaps forum. I plan on trying to get more from the Absolute Write forums. Yeah, so total strangers. I know their names, though! Aha.

That's cool! Hey, total strangers or not if they give good feedback and don't steal your work, who cares. Laughing I probably should try to find some people to critique my work.

Yeah! If you want me to take a look at some of your stuff, I'd be glad to, but beware it will take me a very, very, very long time to give you feedback. Sad I'm horrible at it, I feel sorry for my critique buddy. I trust these strangers enough that they won't steal my work, but I don't want that fear to keep me back from feedback. Smile

Yeah, you have to get to that place where you trust! LOL

And thank you! I'll keep it in mind. I'd also love to return the favor anytime. I give feedback as quick as I can, but I'm pretty honest. Laughing

I focus and write only one book at a time but when one books is being edited I'll let myself start the next one.

I know...it's sooo, I don't even know the word. Aha. Uh oh, well, it's a very inspiring, happy feeling. *Scolds vocabulary for not thinking up a better word*. And thank you! Do you have fun writing your stories? You probaby do, right, I mean we should all feel a little enjoyment, lol.

Totally understand you! I'm introverted also and when I'm with people for too long, I need some time alone. It's funny because most of the writers I know are introverted as well.

Maybe it's because writing is a solitary activity, lol! Unless you are co-writers with someone.

Yeah, probably. I struggle writing around other people. I tend to go into a kind of 'writing mood' and I HATE being interrupted. Laughing And I probably never could co-write something with someone. I've had people say to me before "We should write a book together!" and I always just kind of laugh it off. In the area of writing, I prefer to work solo.

Yeah, I prefer to work solo also. My first experience co-awriting was a disaster because we both had different ideas of how to go about it. Yep, I've a "writing mood" also and whenever someone tries to ask me something while I'm on my mood, I kind of yell some incomprehensible gibberish and continue on my mad typing. xP

Achh! I do the same thing. I've been known to seriously snap out at anyone who tries to talk to me, or just totally not hear what they said and give an off-topic answer and keep typing. LOL!
