When do you get the most writing done?

Usually I write best around 3-5pm or late at night/early in the morning. Anywhere from 10am-2pm I totally can't focus.

When do you get most of your work done?

I usually write best at night, after 9, even into 2 and 3 in the morning. Good thing my first class is in the afternoon.

I can get the most done at night. Usually after 11pm to 3am. Which totally sucks because I don't sleep enough. But hey, that's why coffee exists, right?

TOTALLY why coffee exists! Only I don't like coffee.

I'm a night owl and I've been avoiding coffee so I don't get addicted to it later in life (aka, not spend too much money on it). What keeps me up is adrenaline and determination.
During NaNoWriMo, I noticed I wrote the most (and the best) during the 10PM - 2AM. Yeah, not the best time to write, but that's what happened.

Ah, I miss those late nights. I don't have an excuse to do them anymore xP

I avoided coffee until I started working in a coffee shop as a barista. There, I discovered americanos, and our love is forever, lol. I've been staving off addiction by limiting my coffee intake to once or twice a week maximum, and drinking the less caffeinated black tea instead. I don't think my night owl ways are going away any time soon...and what's kind of ironic is that my current project is called The Night. I wonder why.

@Lizzy I love the bitter taste of it. But just one cup in the mornings with breakfast, &sometimes in the evenings if I'm writing to stay awake. I'm not addicted. (I think.)

@Mayaah For NaNo I was writing at random times of the day. I carried around my lap top everywhere. I would write while in the car even if it was just a ten minute ride somewhere lol. But it was all so worth it.

I used to like coffee as a kid, but then I had a really, really bad cup of it somewhere and I date my dislike of it to that day. Since then I've had coffee drinks (special kinds, with sweet things added) but never just coffee.

I did have a yummy white chocolate and hazelnut coffee thing the other week. It had a shot of espresso in it which made me twitch.

It's funny how it takes one back experience to totally wreck your view on something. lol. But white chocolate & hazelnut sounds so good. &yeah, espresso makes me twitch too.

I prefer to write at night, too, usually anymore between 6 and 11pm. I like to wake up early, but strangely enough, I just CAN'T write before 1 in the afternoon.

I love espresso! I usually get just one shot in a 12oz, for fear of freaking people out with my coffee jitters. I've done my best to stay away from drip coffee, because it's way cheaper and more accessible, then I'll really get addicted.

I know what that's like. I CAN'T write from about 1-3pm. It just doesn't happen.

LOL! I think I freaked some people out after that drink. It wasn't even as bad as the first time I had espresso, and that was two shots. Not good.
