Calling All Teens! One-Sentence Pitch and First 100 Words Contests!

Aspiring teen writers, check out Claire Legrand's and Tori Scott's blogs starting Monday, September 12th through Sunday, September 18th at 11:00 p.m. CST, for the Calling All Teens! contests!

On Claire's blog, comment with a one-sentence pitch of your story idea. On Tori's blog, comment with the first 100 words of your manuscript. Claire and Tori will review all the entries, and then on Wednesday, September 21st, they will announce two winners, one for the pitch contest and one for the first 100 words contest.

Each Calling All Teens! winner will receive a six-month mentorship with one of the authors, including an open line of communication for questions and discussion, online chats when needed, a query critique, a first 50 pages critique, and general guidance regarding social media and networking for writers!

Contestants must be teens ages 13 - 19 to enter.
