Editing Gems - Reference
Yesterday, Amanda found an extremely helpful article on Janice Hardy's blog about editing. One thing led to another (i.e. I pretty much read everything she's ever posted *tremendous exaggeration*), and I decided to compile a list of the articles I wanted to look at in the future. Since they're so awesome, I thought I'd share. They're great tips for editing and, really, just some spot-on, writerly advice.
I put them in some kind of order…hopefully an order that makes sense. ENJOY!
1. How To Use Adverbs
2. How Not To Use Adverbs
3. How To Use Adjectives
4. Preposition Help
5. Pronoun Help
6. Spicing Up Writing
7. Eliminating Passivity
8. Eliminating Telling
9. Describing Emotion
10. General Red Flags
11. Subtle Tweaks For Betterment
12. List Of Words To Search For Polish (Sausages)
I hope y'all find that helpful.

Re: Editing Gems - Reference
*saves to bookmarks folder* I'm sure they'll be helpful, in the distant future when I actually start editing. Thanks!
