Christmas decorations!
I may or may not have just spent my weekend eating Thanksgiving leftovers and decorating for Christmas. When I was a kid I'd start listening to Christmas music in July, and I'd be decorated long before Thanksgiving. Thank goodness I've learned some self control. But it's still my favorite holiday.
So what's up with everyone else? Any decorating? Favorite holidays? Any fun things happen this weekend?

Ah, Twin, you make my heart smile. xD
I like holidays. I don't have a particular favorite, because they all go the same: family comes, food is cooked, games are played, chaos ensues. But I love them all. Cause despite its inevitable issues, my family is awesome.
We haven't started decorating yet. THOUGH we've had Christmas lights in the window since last Christams, so...

Re: Christmas decorations!
Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday. I just love the spirit of it, the gathering of family, and what it's all about. Thanksgiving and Easter are pretty awesome too, though. This past weekend, Amanda and I half-moved into our grandparent's house(sleeping & showering there, hanging out at our house all day to edit/write/feed the cats), and it has been…interesting. So…we haven't decorated, because, at this rate, no one's going to be at our house for Christmas. I am severely tempted to set up a mini-Christmas tree in my room, though, just to get in the spirit of things.
Re: Christmas decorations!
@Renée—You better resist that temptation, because you have work to do, young lady! *grumble grumble copy-pasting grumble* A whole day and a half, wasted. WASTED! Get to work!
That's not as harsh as it sounds, I just like to pretend to be a slave-driver. *cough* Because I AM a slave-driver. *eyes Constance and Defiance that needs editing…and her looming Feb 3rd deadline*
Christmas!!! Yay, Christmas!!! My main thoughts about it right now is that I better have a polished MS by then, lol. But yes. Family time! Decor! Presents! …Pie…

Re: Christmas decorations!
@Renée- I think I might agree, when you put it that way. Even though it really makes e quite poor, buying presents for my whole family.
Well... at least you get to see your grandparents more?
@Amanda- I LOVE the " " face. It makes my heart smile EVERY time. xD
Hey. February 3rd isn't THAT close. I have two months! ...Well. A month and a half, once I actually start...BUT STILL. And, and...um...yeah...
YES. You better have it all polished by then! *expects you to* And you mentioning all this polishing, I remembered that I have part 2 and haven't started it yet. Even though I've kept thinking about the story, mentally comparing differences in it to "The Grey Wolf Throne" that I'm reading right now(mostly how much description the two have and how it works for each, since that's the biggest problem I'm aware of in my writing. SEE. I'm prepping for editing! >.>). I haz MAJOR memory anti-skillz.
Bleh, decorations. But family, presents! Pie! Right there with ya.

*coughs* No favorite? I s'pose that makes sense. But Christmas has always been most magical in my house. It's always been my favorite.
(And I do know about the peeking-proof Christmas lights in your window. XD)

Ooooh, I would, if I were you! You definitely need to get into the spirit of things somehow.
I love Thanksgiving too, but nothing beats Christmas. All the secrets everyone's keeping, the family, the food, THE COOKIES, the meaning... all that jazz. So wonderful! I just love it.

*stares* Don't tell her to resist the temptation! Encourage it!!! XD
Hehehe. Ah, yes. When are you going to send this in-need-of-polishing MS my way? I feel like we've talked about this so much, and it's just not happening. O_o
I'm reading Constance's work right now! *bounces* That was random. But kind of related at the same time.
Re: Christmas decorations!
@Maggie—Well…it's 'cause I haven't finished it yet, haha. I'm going to finish polishing the first half, which I'm exactly 54% done with, atm, and I'll send that to replace the version you already have. I'll hopefully include a jpeg of my map—since I still haven't made it to my mom's school to get it scanned, idk about that yet. Then I'll finish polishing the second half, and send it to you when you're done with the first, keeping in mind that the first half is 56,666 words exactly so far, and the second half is roughly that also. You know…as long as that works for you, haha.
Re: Christmas decorations!
@Amanda Okay! I'd better get crackin' with Constance's so I'm ready this time, and don't let it get pushed to the back of my pile.
