I'm using the Rosetta Stone immersion computer program, so it's not as hard as it might be in a classroom. I can pronounce almost the whole Cyrillic alphabet! I get all excited when I can sound out words--I might have no clue what it means, but I can say it.
Rosetta Stone is really good. I used it for Latin, but that was a required course so I didn't enjoy it at all. I use Livemocha now for French. I think the best part about it is the ability to have your work reviewed by foreign speakers of your language. *shrug*
I know the feeling of sounding words out. You can hear yourself "starting to sound (korean/french/russian)" when you talk. Love that feeling!

It is! But again, like writing, a little scary pressing "Submit" Especially in French, they don't beat about the bush. They'll tell you exactly what's wrong.

Wow that does sound cool! I have to look that up for Spanish! (I'm not very good at it and I really want to be fluent.... Someday)
