Welcome to Write On!, Stephanie!! I'm Maggie. And I think it's awesome that you write music, and that your food of choice at four in the morning is ice cream. Now I want some ice cream.

2. What do you like to write / read? Fiction, Fantasy, and Science Fiction.
3. How long have you been writing? Since I could hold a pen and read, really.
4. How long have you been reading? Forever. xD
5. What's a random fact about you? I love Doctor Who.
6. It's 4 in the morning. You find yourself in a grocery store and very hungry. What's the first thing you think to buy? Dark chocolate. Or ice cream.

YAY!! Welcome to the forums, Costello! And both dark chocolate AND ice cream are awesome choices. I can't decide which is better, so I'm just going to stick to both of them are equally awesome.

So... this is my first time here, so forgive me if I'm not doing this right!! (Although I've been lurking WriteOn for a while...heheh).

OK so I am finally going to introduce myself... my name is Gracie, although it's not because that's not my real name - just my internet "codename" if you will.

Anyway.

1. How old are you? 18 as of a month ago. I can vote now!!
2. What do you like to write / read? I love reading books that make me think and my current favourite book is Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta because it is beautiful. I will honestly write anything but I have noticed that my favourite things to write are so-called deep, emotional kind of stuffs.
3. How long have you been writing? Since I was like, 4...

5. What's a random fact about you? Um... I'm scared of stairs. Especially those stairs that don't have a back so as you're walking up you can look through to the ground far below... *shudder*
6. It's 4 in the morning. You find yourself in a grocery store and very hungry. What's the first thing you think to buy? Crackers? Either that or granola bars... because then I could eat them right away (I'm very practical).

Hi, Gracie!! I hate those types of stairs too! I use to have a barn and you would have to go up a ladder type thing to get up there and it use to completely freak me out, especially going down them. Welcome to WriteOn!!

COSTELLO MY COMRADE!!!! Your answers make me chuckle. However, I would disagree about buying ice cream. I mean, really. Why would I BUY ice cream when I can MAKE IT? *would by the chocolate*

I'll try and join for as many chats as I can although usually I'm busy on Friday nights...

WELL. There usually are also chats Mondays at 8pmEST. And if you have Twitter(Do you?) you can always just tweet me and be like "Hey! Let's chat!"

Oh! I can probably make the ones on Mondays then. That'd be cool. And I don't have a twitter... but I am kind of thinking about getting one... although I don't really know yet. Care to share the advantages/disadvantages of having one?

Pros: You can get tweets from Write On! about awesome stuff. You can talk to me and other awesome WO! teens. It is awesome.

Cons: Without proper discipline on your part, it will eat your life.

See, it's the "eating my life" thing I'm kind of worried about... :S (<-- that's an "unsure face", just in case you don't use that smiley... haha)

And as far as Twitter goes, I'll give you pros and cons, too.

Pros: You get a sparkly, customized Twitter page with a pretty avatar. You can tweet about whatever you want, and use it like a chatroom, almost, with all your favorite people. You can get notifications from WO!. You can be thoroughly amused.

Cons: It will eat your life. If you let it...

Well, I caved, and created a twitter. Now you must help me use it... haha. Anyway, you can find me @AlyssaSherlock. Wait, that's how you write a twitter name, right? Haha, I feel like an elderly person.

I SAW THAT. *very very happy* I'll definitely help you use it. And yes, that's how you write a Twitter name. I feel the same way when I'm talking about Tumblr. I only JUST got it, and am still trying to figure it out.
