QOTD Saturday May 7
Woohoo! My favorite day of the week. EVER.
QUESTION: If you could have a sit-down-and-chat-over-coffe-and/or-tea with any yet only ONE author of your choice, who would you talk with and why? What would you talk about? What would you want to learn from them?

My answer is (though I know it sounds cliche...) J.K. Rowling. I would love to have an in-depth conversation with her about PLOTTING and how she does it, since she's so gifted. Maybe get some tips on how to plot better since it's my weakness.

Hmm...I would definitely want to sit down & chat with Sarah Dessen. I'm in love with her characters & the way she makes them come to life. Also, her novels are so relatable & simple yet heart warming. :]

Tolkien! Lewis! Hugo! ...oh, curses, they're all dead. Well, if scriptwriters are allowed, most definitely Joss Whedon. "Genius" isn't even an awesome enough term for him.
And if he's not allowed either...probably Brandon Sanderson. Just because I've learned so much from him (and Dan Wells and Howard Tayler) by listening to their Writing Excuses podcast. Someday I will meet them and thank them for that. ^_^

I haven't read anything of hers (yet!). But that's definitely a really good skill!

Hah! Yes. Dead people don't count, sadly.
Nice. ^^

Ah, so many... J.K. Rowling, for her plotting and worldbuilding. Or Lisa Shearin. I love how she writes her fantasy so they read like a contemp... and it still works.

Hmmmmmmmmm. Any author ever. I've met 10 authors via signings, and every single one is awesome.
