NaNoWriMo 2011 SUPPORT GROUP!

It's that time of year again! NaNo is upon us. While there are many, many meeting places and support groups all over the place, we're still having one right here at Write On!.

If you're participating in NaNoWriMo 2011, this is your official support thread! Come share your joys and sorrows, triumphs and defeats, and maybe give us your Twitter, Facebook or blog link to help us all connect better.

Man, day 3. I'm already behind! *wails* But I have all evening to write, so maybe I'll catch up. Or at least get less behind. How's everyone else's day 3s going?

Oh no! I'm sure you'll be able to catch up! Just hang in there!

My day three... Hasn't gone well. I had three tests, a paper to write, another test to study for, and a quiz so I just finished now and I'm hoping to get a big word count in the hour *crosses fingers* but I'm a bit ahead right now because I expected this to happen so I'm not worried too much.

Thanks. ^_^ I'm bout to dive in and not coe out till I've hit at least today's deadline, hopefully todays+yesterday's missed.

As for my day 3, it's been good! I managed my time well and got all my words in. It was only slightly depressing when I glanced at Taryn's wordcount and saw she's at 24k already, although I decided it would take all the fun out of NaNo if I finished the novel in 1/4 of the time given. O_O *coughs*

Anyway. Full steam ahead!

@Twin If you say so, it must be true.
I know, right? She's already at 24k! O_O But then, she's also writing two, so I feel slightly better... until I realize, she's writing TWO at a TIME. *O_O* xD

The fact that she's writing two just makes it worse. But it's really okay. I just don't work that way! *shrug*

And now it's Day 4. I've hit a bumpy spot (already!) and so I'm a little anxious to see if I can iron it out. *deeeeeep breath*

Okay guys... good news! I was depressed earlier today because my story was falling flat. It was lacking a good, interesting sub plot.

I took a walk with my sister to try to brainstorm some ideas. Nothing. But then, as I was setting a pot of water to boil on the stove-- BING! My idea came. So I'm good now.

Yesterday was AWESOME. I've not written today... Been gone all day. I have time now, but I'm uber tired and hungry. *has no motivation* But I must press onward! MUST. WRITE. MORE.

It's gone quiet! How's everyone doing??

I've finally caught up and surpassed the daily NaNo goal! I'm already ~400 words ahead, and that's all from last night, so I have lots more getting ahead to do today! *is uber happy & excited* The first time I attempted to draft Book 2, I got about this far(~10k) in the novel*. So I'm going into previously unwritten waters now. It's cool and a bit daunting at the same time, because I'm not rewriting anymore. I'm questing towards the meat of the book, and there's a lot out there to be captured that I haven't attempted to capture yet. But I will do it!

*I've split the 50k between two WIPs, in case that number is a little confusing, when I have a total of ~17k. XD
